AssociatesMD, a part of NeueHealth, a Bright Health Group company is seeking a Scheduling/Intake Coordinator to join our fast-paced and growing practice.

You will be expected to provide outstanding customer service to patients by working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. You will act as a bridge for communications to our facility; therefore, the successful candidate will demonstrate competency in making outbound calls to patients to schedule appointments and to answer insurance-related questions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and directing to the appropriate department.
  • Communicating doctor "On Call" schedules/changes to answering service at the end of the day.
  • Distribute phone messages to the appropriate department promptly.
  • Complete various tasks as assigned by the front office and billing manager.
  • Deal with the public courteously and compassionately.
  • Display excellent phone etiquette.

Relevant Skills:

  • Proficient user and knowledge of business phone etiquette.
  • Must develop knowledge of the Practice, and its general operations/specialties to effectively respond to incoming calls and to route them properly.
  • Able to operate basic office equipment, such as telephones, computers, and copy and fax machines.
  • Effective communication with physicians, patients, the public, and co-workers is required.

Education, Training, and Professional Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience working with multiple phone lines is required.
  • Past medical practice experience a plus.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (strongly preferred)

Work Environment:

  • This is a work-from-home role, but applicants must live in South Florida
  • Must have access to high-speed internet
